Bag of Cannes

Sam & Mikey have brought a little bit of Irish culture to Cannes, with interview series, “Bag of Cannes”. Every day they’ll catch up with a new industry character, with each chat lasting the time it takes them to finish one can. A can that’s been made in collaboration with Dead Centre Brewing

DAY 4 – Bag of Cannes + Patrick + Michael (The Cannes Shirtlist)

For the final episode of the series, Sam + Mikey caught up with the Shirtlist t-shirt guys. Two Canadian creatives who set out to have – and achieved – the perfect week in Cannes. The boys chat yacht parties, shooting music videos and the most “Cannes” thing they achieved.

DAY 3 – Bag of Cannes + Matt Lawson (Cannes Veteran)

Sam + Mikey had a chat with man about Cannes, Matt Lawson, who’s at his tenth festival in a row. The lads chat about where the old school hang out, €60 G&Ts, and insuring Zac Efron and an aggressive monkey. 

DAY 2 – Bag of Cannes + Resh Sidhu (Creative Director at AKQA) 

Sam and Mikey went for a casual chat and came out with some genuine insights, with Cannes Digital Craft Jury member and Creative Director of AKQA NY, Resh Sidhu. 

DAY 1 – Bag of Cannes + Rory Hamilton (Executive Creative Director at Boys + Girls)

Sam + Mikey chat to the boss, Rory, about why exactly he’s brought them to Cannes, as he lays down a few ground rules.
